A word from our Executive Director
Welcome Friends,
If we were sitting down for a meal together, I could share story after story of how God has used Inner City Impact to bring HOPE to inner city kids. It’s been my passion for over 35 years. I love how God used the “5 loafs and 2 fish” that my wife and I started with. Our simple beginning was a sidewalk ministry in Chicago’s Humboldt Park. That ministry has grown to include Logan Square and now Cicero communities. The names of former students like Juan, Tito, Lutisha, Juanita, Eric, Ricky, are just a few of the ones that come to mind. Each one has a special story. Each one so special to God.
As God has blessed us with growing opportunities, he’s also blessed us with great fruit of the ministry. Students that have been involved with ICI are serving God at their local church, in vocational Christian ministry, in their various professions, and around the world! You can check out some of their stories on the here. Inner City Impact is really God’s story of how he has used dedicated staff to reach students in some of Chicagoland’s tough neighborhoods. New chapters in that story are written every day!
Please take a look at our web site or email me with any questions you may have about Inner City Impact.
I look forward to hearing from you. Send me an email at bdillon@InnerCityImpact.org
Blessings to you,

Success Stories
Lutisha Lee
Lutisha heard about ICI from the neighborhood kids. She wanted to go, but her protective inner city mom was apprehensive. The ICI staff person reached out to her mom and invited both of them to club. The rest is history. The entire family started attending and volunteering at ICI. Lutisha graduated top in her high school class. After earning her college degree, she now works in the finance department at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
