Where are they now?

Our committed staff and faithful prayer and financial supporters have made an eternal impact on thousands of inner city kids. Here’s just a a few.

Carlos Borges

After graduating from Trinity International University, Carlos moved back to the ICI neighborhood. He and his wife have a child and he teaches in a nearby elementary.

Carlos Hernandez

Carlos attend Moody Bible Institute and then transferred to Miami Christian College, where he was the first Hispanic president of the student body. Carlos is married and has a family and has his own ServiceMaster Franchise.

Freddie Vasquez

Tradegy struck Freddies family. One of Freddie's brothers was almost killed by gangs. Another died at birth and another was locked up in prison for murder. However, God had other plans for Freddie. Today he is married with three children and has been attending Prairie Bible College in Canada.

Jackie Rosado

After graduating from Grace College, Jackie taught in Puerto Rico. Today, she and her husband live in the New York city area.

Robert Rivera

Robert graduated from Moody Bible Institute. Today he serves as a youth pastor in his local church, which is attended by current ICI kids. He also works full time at Moody Bible Institute and occasionally plays basketball with the Friday morning pick up league.

Teresa Calderon

Theresa grew up in our Inner City Impact programs. She accepted the Lord in the after school club and continued to be active through our Leadership Development program. After completing her degree at Grace College, she went on to teach in Singapore.

Lutisha Lee

Lutisha heard about ICI from the neighborhood kids. She wanted to go, but her protective inner city mom was apprehensive. The ICI staff person reached out to her mom and invited both of them to club. The rest is history. The entire family started attending and volunteering at ICI. Lutisha graduated top in her high school class. After earning her college degree, she now works in the finance department at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
